Clinician Bio

About my approach (style) to therapy…

It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards change. I believe each of us has the strength within to overcome challenges and I am here to help you find that inner strength. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you.

About my background and training…

I graduated from Post University with a Masters Degree in Human Services with a concentration in Counseling, Drugs and Alcohol. I have over 10 years of experience working as a counselor and case manager. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, learning disabilities, drugs and alcohol issues, anger issues and women’s issues to those who are on probation or parole.

About my work (ideal clients)…

I believe in a collaborative model where honesty, caring, and a therapeutic alliance are in place. My therapy style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don’t believe in stigmatizing labels. I will tailor our dialogue and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. I believe in an integrative approach that allows us to work collaboratively to create a safe space.
