Hello!  I’m Steve Wasilewski, a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in anxiety, depression, and helping people feel more able to create positive change for themselves. I utilize evidence-based approaches including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing to help guide clients move towards their goals and help them improve their lives. My philosophy of counseling is based on helping clients with the goals that are important to them and, most importantly, helping them plan how to get there. I have more than 20 years of experience in the mental health field in various settings including schools, community mental health centers, emergency services, substance abuse recovery, and outpatient therapy. When I’m not working, I enjoy family time, hiking in the woods with my dogs, and making firewood.
