Clinician Bio

About my approach (style) to therapy…

Every person has had a different life experience and because of this I tailor my approaches to meet individual needs. First and foremost I am person centered and believe everyone deserves empathy and compassion. I also tend to look at how a persons close relationships are impacting their mental health, as well as how their mental health is impacting their close relationships.

About my background and training…

I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology and social behavior with a minor in Education from the University of California, Irvine and I received my Master of Arts degree in clinical mental health counseling with an emphasis in couples and family therapy from Sam Houston State University.

About my work (ideal clients)…

My ideal client is anyone who wants to gain insight into their problems and experiences past and present. I specialize in working with clients who are experiencing relationship problems, trauma, anxiety, depression, and prenatal and postpartum mental health disorders.

A Little About Me…

When I am not working I enjoy spending time with my family and staying active.
