Francesca Siano, LPC / ATR-BC

Hello, my name is Francesca Siano, MAATC, LPC. ATR-BC. I am a Board Certified Art Therapist and a Licensed Professional Counselor. I earned my dual master’s degree in Art Therapy and Counseling from Albertus Magnus College New Haven, Connecticut.

My professional experience spans a wide range of clinical settings, including acute behavioral health units in psychiatric hospitals, group homes, addiction recovery programs, and private practice. My clinical work has taken me across several states, including Arizona and New York, and I currently practice in Connecticut.

I specialize in creative and integrative approaches to healing, including the Inner Child Recovery Program, Body Mapping, Process Painting, and evidenced-based practices in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness. These approaches allow clients to explore emotions, lived experiences, and personal growth through both verbal and non-verbal expression, supporting deeper insight and lasting change.

My therapeutic approach is creative, compassionate, and client-centered. I work collaboratively with clients to address concerns such as trauma, emotional regulation, self-worth, identity development, anxiety and life transitions. I tailor each session to meet the unique needs and goals of the individual, offering both structure and space for meaningful exploration.

I also prioritize nervous system regulation and somatic awareness, helping clients reconnect with their bodies as part of the healing process. I believe healing happens when we feel safe, seen, and empowered to explore our inner worlds – whether through traditional talk therapy, creative modalities, or a combination of both.

My style is grounded, warm, and intuitive, and I meet clients where they are, at their own pace. Clients can expect to leave sessions feeling supported, more connected to themselves, and equipped with tools for emotional regulation, self-awareness and personal growth. Over time, many clients develop a stronger sense of identity, improved coping skills, and a deeper understanding of their inner child and core needs.
Whether we’re working through trauma, anxiety, relationship challenges, or creative blocks, my goal is to foster healing, empowerment, and lasting change. Ultimately, I want clients to feel grounded, more in control of their lives – supported in becoming their most authentic selves.
Healing happens in relationships and in safety. My intention is to walk alongside you with compassion, structure, and creativity as you reconnect with your inner strengths and move towards greater self-trust and wholeness.
