Nicole Folino, LMSW

Clinician Bio

Hi my name is Nicole Folino, LMSW. I am a compassionate and nurturing social worker, deeply committed to supporting the emotional and developmental needs of children and adolescents. With a calm, empathetic presence and a strong clinical skill set, I create a safe space where clients feel understood, empowered, and capable of growth. I combine evidence-based practices with genuine care to help young people build resilience, overcome challenges, and thrive in all aspects of life. I am dedicated to supporting youth with emotional disturbances, ADHD, trauma-related challenges, anxiety, and depression.

In supporting students in the school environment for 8 years, I bring a strong foundation in crisis intervention, safety planning, school-based advocacy, and conflict resolution, working collaboratively with students, families, and educators. My therapeutic approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and strengths-based practices, empowering clients to build self-awareness, emotional regulation, and problem-solving skills while supporting parents in advocating appropriate support for their child.

As a graduate of the University of New England’s Master of Social Work program, I am driven by a clear mission: to foster self-resilient adolescents who can thrive despite life’s challenges. I am passionate about creating safe, supportive environments where young people feel seen, heard, and capable.

Outside of my career, I enjoy spending time with my son hitting the ski slopes in the winter, gardening, and exploring the outdoors.
